Accidents with Google Map? Who should you blame?

I came to ask these questions when I read about a woman filing a lawsuit for google maps incorrect direction. The poor walking directions caused here a permanent physical and mental injuries for she was hit by a vehicle while walking on a dirt road.

According to her complaint, Google had recklessly, carelessly and negligent in providing unsafe directions. Supposedly the road that she have walked on has no sidewalks and with vehicles running at high speeds. Meaning to say, she is using the Google map for guidance and was struck by a vehicle due to lack of warnings from it.

The Thin Line Between Ignorance and Stupidity.

If Google Map tells you to jump, would you jump? I felt sorry for the woman for the injuries and trauma he have suffered, but, I can't help and think. Where she glancing the Google Map and walking at the same time? A map is a good thing if you're a tourist or new to a place. Let us not forget that these maps could be made 2 mins, days, weeks, months ago and it could be the map or any reference you'll  have, could have have some numbers of revision already.

I didn't imply that Google Map is erroneous. It's just that be responsible in following directions. Did our parents always say that to look both sides before you cross a road?
